Erem AI ("we," "our," or "us") operates with your privacy as a core principle. Your documents and business data are not just protected. They remain completely isolated from other clients and from our infrastructure systems. We believe privacy is not a feature to add later; it's a foundation we build on from day one.
How Your Data is Stored
Isolated Server Architecture
Each client receives a dedicated, isolated server completely separate from other businesses. Your documents, queries, answers, and all processing happen exclusively on your server. No data sharing. No cross-contamination. Complete isolation.
What We Track (and Don't)
We don't collect:
- Usage data or analytics
- Query logs or search history
- Behavioral patterns about your team
We do:
- Keep your server running
- Secure your documents
- Ensure system reliability and uptime
AI Processing - Secure by Default
When we process your documents using AI models (via OpenAI, Google, DeepInfra, or similar providers), your prompts are sent securely and never stored by those providers. Responses are immediately saved back to your isolated server. Neither your documents nor responses are used to train any AI models, not ours, not third-party models. Zero data leakage.
Server Location & Performance
We use OVH infrastructure with servers strategically located near your business to ensure fastest performance and lowest latency. Your server region is chosen based on your geographic location.
Data Backups - Your Safety Net
To protect your business from data loss (hardware failure, natural disasters, etc.), we create automated, encrypted backups daily at 12 AM UTC. These backups are stored in secure, encrypted object storage located in the USA or India, depending on compliance needs.
Backups are encrypted with military-grade encryption. They are only accessible if a recovery is absolutely necessary. You can opt-out of automated backups at any time if you prefer zero off-server storage.
Account Information
We collect your name, email, company name, and contact information when you create an account or request a demo. This is used solely to manage your account and provide customer support.
What Leaves Your Server
Documents: Never leave your server (except encrypted backups for disaster recovery).
Prompts & AI Responses: Sent to third-party AI providers securely, responses stored on your server, never used for model training.
Your Data: Always stays within your isolated environment.
Account Deletion & Data Removal
When you delete your account, all your documents on your dedicated server are permanently removed within 30 days. Encrypted backups are deleted simultaneously unless recovery is in progress due to hardware failure.
Your Rights & Control
You have full control:
- Request a complete export of all your documents anytime
- Opt-out of automated backups
- Understand exactly where your data is stored
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Request third-party audit of our infrastructure

Transparency & Compliance
We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations. We will not share, sell, or exploit your documents under any circumstance. We do not participate in government data requests without legal process, and we will notify you if legally compelled to disclose information.
